Posting your top quality content on Instagram only in hopes a feature?
Here’s a pro tip: Don’t.
Getting a feature is probably one of the most exciting things to happen to your Instagram, apart from getting verified of course. Although, if you think a feature on another (well known) account is going to add a flux of followers to your account, you’ve got a thing coming buddy.
It’s not necessary at all for you to gain a mad amount of followers or interaction for any of your posts. Yes, you will get some attention but it doesn’t have to be massive, or as you’d hoped, permanent. Instead, you should work on making your Instagram profile of such quality that each of your post is worth a feature on its own. Try to aim for quality content, whether it’s photography, travel, food, social media, fashion, beauty, etc.
By aiming to do that and even create informative content sometimes, you won’t have the need to be featured anywhere, and will grow your following organically. People will start to see your entire account instead of just one post that’s randomly been selected to be featured on another profile, hence increasing views, following and engagement organically.
Unless you use a bot, but that’s a post for next time!
